March without the trumpet
So the month of March has snuck it's way into this weekend, starting with an all nighter for the high school ministry (I only took a 5 hour shift, instead of the whole night). It was great to see what the kids are like when they are deliriously sleep deprived. I still feel the dehydration with only 2 hours of sleep before the shift...I look forward to seeing what's behind my eyelids soon.
After breakfast and 5 hours of sleep, I went for a 3 mile jog with my friend Amy up Dirty Mama (a new name for the largest dirt trail we ran). It was hot, running in the middle of the day and on the hottest day we've had in the last few weeks. But the workout was great...like Tony the Tiger GREAT! Now I'm pooped....time for some sleep before tomorrow's craziness starts.

Good Morning February
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it! How awesome are those words....
I just wanted to put a little hello for the month of February to those following this blog; I didn't want you to think I forgot about writing each month.
February is teaching me about mercy with a patient heart. I'm working with teens through the church and it wasn't until last night that I realized fully what the Lord had started to work within me.

Happy New Year
So it's 2009, not sure how it all happened, just feels like I missed out on a few months last year...I don't remember them passing me by. So this year...the goal is to write a little something each month so I don't feel left out in 2009 (and since I'm getting older, I can review when I feel I missed something LOL).
My trip to Michigan for Christmas and New Year was cold...burr...single digits and relaxing...yes to warm fires! I had a lot of family time which is always awesome! I even drove in the white slippery stuff a couple of times (stiff armed...I slid pass an intersection...heart pounding and all). But after 6 feet of snow and single digits, its not so bad living in California right now. Would I do it again...oh yeah...I just wished the sun would appear more often than it does.

Friday Night!
It's finally Friday! Where am I? Home listening to my roommate learn piano, my other mate eat dinner, and our dog make ticky ticky (walking) on the floor wondering who's going to take her out for her evening walk. It's a normal Friday evening...that I just wanted to share with ya'll.
